New Year's Eve Vercelli

Vercelli could be the perfect destination for those who dream a quiet New Year's Eve, but it is close to the major centres: in fact, the small town of Vercelli is situated in the immediate vicinity of Novara and sufficiently near Milan.
Despite being a very small city Vercelli covers, however, an important role in the north Italy industry panorama: among the most important productions, we cannot mention that one related to the rice, exported all over the world.
Many religious buildings to visit in Vercelli are: first of all the St. Andrea basilica, which building started in 1200.
The Basilica is famous for its wonderful bell towers, more than that for the fantastic art works that you can admire in the inside. deserve a visit, even the San Paolo church, the San Giuliano church and the San Giovanni Battista church.
Very important are also the Cathedral of San Eusebio, built where once there was a medieval basilica.
Among the museums, to visit is the Francesco Borgogna museum, with the most important Italian galleries; the Camillo Leone museum, with exhibits of the history of the city.
And yet, go at the cultural centre of Santa Chiara and the 1400s Centori Palace. Finally, you can’t miss a brief sightseeing in the beautiful Cavour square, very particular and charming.
