New Year's Eve Turin
The city of Turin, regional capital of Piedmonte, besides being one of the cornerstones of economy and of the Italian trade, it is also very active culturally and very lively, perhaps thanks to the presence of a major University, which draws many young people from all over Italy.

Turin has always had a great industrial relevance, especially in the metallurgical and mechanical field and more specifically automobile. Finally, how can’t we mention the many famous names that boast Turin origins: Carlo Alberto, Vittorio Emanuele II, Cavour, Gioberti, Agnelli, Saragat and many others.
Let's start our visit of the city from the Cathedral, with Renaissance origins (dated to 1490 circa) and charcterized by a great Romanesque bell tower.
We continue our visit with Castello Sq., the heart of the historical center: here we can admire the famous Madama Palace, headquarter of the Museum of Ancient Art.
Another building very important is the Royal Palace, dating back to 1600 and the headquarter of the Savoia until 1865: here we can admire, in addition, the royal gardens, the Royal Armoury and the Museum of Cinema, inaugurated in 1958. You can admire many palaces and buildings of rare beauty, all dating back to 1700, in the historic Garibaldi street and still in the charming Carignano square.
Among the numerous museums in Turin, we cannot miss to visit the Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art, which keeps a surprising collection of art of the end ‘700.
And yet, the Egyptian museum and the Savoy Gallery, both hosted inside the Academy of Sciences Palace.
Finally, it deserve a visit the Valentino Park and the Valentino Castle, with its medieval suburb dating back to the years that range from 1630 to 1660.
