New Year's Eve Riccione

If you want to spend an extreme New Year's Eve, among some premises and discos, the ideal place is certainly the eventful town of Riccione, in the heart of the Riviera Romagnola!
This city is not only famous among the young people, who is attracted by the thousand amusements that Riccione can offer, such as discos, festivals and beautiful shores, the city is frequented by many European tourists, mainly German, as well as by families who spend their summers here, between the acquagym on the beach and the water slides parks, the most famous of which are Aquafan and Indiana golf.
The city begins to acquire importance thanks to the fact that it is an important stop stations along the Via Flaminia, and in the XIIIth century was already an important medieval village, called Arcione, protected by the beautiful Agolati castle.
From 1865 started a very rapid development, which echoes the build of hotels and of the so-called Marini hospices.
Then, from 1922 started to rise the first seaside resorts which, wih the time, will give to Riccione its current fame.
Obviously, Riccione base its business on the tourism industry even if, it is very important for its craft always related to the tourism.
In Riccione there are monuments of particular historical importance, but the city has however its own charm.
The main road is Viale Ceccarini Maria: here you will find the most crowded premises and the discos, besides numerous shops.
To get a glimpse of the most elegant hotels, and of the numerous trendy discos and pubs, you have to go on the seafront, which is able to offer pleasant walks: here you will also find the thermal establishment.
Finally, to visit is the Territory Museum: inside it you will find a geological naturalistic section and an archelogical section.
