New Year Munich

The typical night in Munich for the New Year begins in a Biergarten (a particular pub) or in a tavern, premises that usually close around midnight.
After the pub, you can go in some cafè or bar, which continue to slide up alcohol until 1am and later for the New Year.
Instead, with regards to the discos and clubs, these are rather quiet and almost deserts before midnight, but they start to get filled and remain full of people until late at night (they never close before the 4am).
Some very sought after and fashion premises can be found along the Leopold Street, in the Schwabing area.
Instead the clubs are all grouped together in the eastern part of the city, near Ostbahnhof and Haldhausen.
