New Year Berlin

Berlin, the Federal Capital of Germany, is one of the most important European cities, both from the political and the economic and cultural point of view.
This wonderful city offers very much to the tourist, that only walking along its roads will get the impression of visiting a huge open-air museum: and in fact in Berlin there are some of the most interesting monuments and buildings more in Europe.
Some of the most representative buildings of the town were designed by famous architects, such as Schinkel and Knobelsdorff, which have given to Berlin the typical atmosphere of the purest Prussian classicism.
Among the most significant examples of classical Prussian architecture, halfway between the Baroque and the Neoclassicism, we find the beautiful and numerous castles of Berlin and around.
Among these, it deserves a visit the Charlottenburg Castle, with its Gold Gallery; the Prussian Arcadia, surrounded by a wonderful landscape; and finally Pfaueninsel, that draws the attention of young and unhealable and romantic lovers. Alongside these historic buildings, have also forged their works contemporary architects such as Renzo Piano and Daniel Liebeskind.
But Berlin is also famous for its unleashed night life, that is able to satisfy all types of tastes: from the after-work clubs, the new trend in Berlin, to the many bars, where you can dance and enjoy excellent cocktails, up to the most triggered Techno party, which attract young people from every part of Europe.
The lively districts, from the clubs and nightlife point of view, are Mitte, Prenzlauer, Berg and Friedrichshain.
Finally, among the many museums in Berlin, we recommend some, for example, the Pergamon Museum, where you can admire the Babylon Door and the Pergamon Altar; and yet the Egyptian Museum, which is located in Charlottenburg, it houses the famous Nefertiti bust.
Then, how not to mention the classic triptych and the modern art, composed by the Kulturforum, the Art gallery (the Gemaldegalerie) and the Neue Nationalgalerie.
Still, for a pinch of contemporary art, you can visit the Hamburger Bahnhof.
And finally, it deserves a visit the recent Cinema Museum, situated in Postdamer Platz.
This is only a very small part of this wonderful city, all to visit and to live!
