New Year Amsterdam

The Leidseplein and the Rembrandtplein areas, are the most interesting areas of the city for what concerns the New Year night life, certainly the most lively and active for those interested in the famous coffee shops, in the crowded and chaotic bars and the hot and sticky clubs, which here are found in abundance.
Not far from the Leidseplein district, the most fashionable and expensive discos abound, and precisely in the Prinsengracht area, near Leidsestraat, and on the Lange Leidsedwarsstraat road.
Some clubs require a registration fee for the circle, in addition to the normal admission ticket.
However, the most popular and sought-after places in Amsterdam, are the old and  bleak "Bruin Café" (translated means Brown Coffees), with their wood interiors, which are mainly found in the Jordaan district, in the west side of the town.
